1. General

These Terms set out the conditions of use for the software "ShieldGuard" (the "Software") provided by Maeda Naoya ("we" or "us"). By downloading or installing the Software, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

2. License Grant

We grant you a non-exclusive right to use the Software on the number of Windows PCs corresponding to the number of licenses you purchased. Copying, redistributing, or reverse-engineering the Software is prohibited, except where separately permitted by the license of an open-source component.

3. Open Source Software

The Software is built on the open-source antivirus engine "PRX-SD" (MIT License / Apache License 2.0). Please refer to the LICENSE-MIT / LICENSE-APACHE files included with the product for the full license text.

4. Disclaimer

The Software is designed to detect known and some unknown threats, but we do not guarantee it will detect or prevent all threats. Except as required by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the Software.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Sharing the Software's license key or purchaser information with third parties
• Use for any purpose that violates law or public order and morals
• Exploiting vulnerabilities in the Software

6. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms without prior notice when we consider it necessary. Amended Terms take effect once posted on this page.
